Happy 4th Birthday Rylee!

I CAN NOT believe my sweet little angel is turning 4 already. I can totally remember her kicking the crap out of me when I was pregnant with her. I remember being in the hospital when she was first born and being freaked out by the thought of trying to change her diaper and her clothes. I remember her first bath, her first tooth, her first bite of babyfood, her first steps. It all seems so long ago but at the same time like it was just yesterday. She is so aware of her birthday this year. When we ask when her birthday is she says "April twenty second". She has a birthday wish list about a mile long. Adam and I are both really excited about her actual birthday this year. I am making her pink cupcakes with pink icing and rainbow sprinkles (at her request). I will take some up to her school that day and we will have some that night so she can blow out her candles. We got her a Leapster with a Tinkerbell game and a Hannah Montana CD.

She is SO into dresses these days. That is all she wants to wear. I tried to put shorts on her the other day and she cried. WOW. Not sure how that happened.

Rylee has also been my laundry helper lately. She can help me put clohtes into the dryer as well as try to fold them. When did she learn how to fold clothes???? I guess she really is watching and LISTENING all the time :) I love her so much
more everyday.

Rylee's school has something called "Donuts for Dads". It is a day that the dads take their kids to school and have donuts with them in their classroom. I think this is so sweet. She wanted a pink donut with sprinkles but settled for a glazed ;)

She loves her brother so much. I was telling Adam that it is so different having a baby now that there is an older sibling. When Rylee was a baby she didn't have anyone other than us to entertain her. Parker can see Rylee walk into a room and instantly start smiling. It is really cool to experience the whole sibling thing. I love that they have eachother.

At school this month Rylee has had a chance to meet a fireman, a policeman and his dog and poison control. I was actually very surprised by this picture her teacher sent me! I can't believe she actually climbed out of her shell to hold the hose!!!

Oh and it is officially.... Parker found his pee pee :)

Parker is sick right now with a horrible cold. He is also getting THREE top teeth and has a double ear infection. UG. Poor baby. He has actually been in pretty good spirts but isn't sleeping well at night. I HATE the nasal asperator. I have to hold him down with my legs and arms just to try to get the snot out of his nose. :( I am sure he hates it more than I do. The only thing you can do at this age is saline drops which he JUST LOVES let me tell you. uggggg

My mom took the kids to church a few Sunday's ago and Parker's nursery teacher said "We have a new name for your grandson....... Mr. Adventure". HA HA HA. SO true SO true. He is all over the place and into everything. What a sweet little man he is!!!

Rylee's phrase of the week is "of course". Me -"Rylee can you put your cup in the sink" Rylee - "of course". So cute.
Funny Rylee quote... Me -"Sometimes Parker is just going to get your toys". Rylee -"And sometimes you are going to have to move him".

Easter 2010

Parker likes to eat Easter eggs.

We had a great Easter this year. It was Parker's first and Rylee is at the age now where it is really fun!!!

We went over to Adam's cousin's house for a big Easter egg hunt.

I love this picture of Parker sleeping. He has been waking up around 6am and I try to get him to go back to sleep in our bed after his bottle. Sometimes he doesn't but sometimes he does :) I love snuggling with him and watching him sleep.

The Easter Bunny came to visit Rylee this year. He brought her Hannah Montana Pj's, candy, lip gloss and an activity book. He even hid the eggs we dyed a few days before. Rylee was really into hunting the eggs until she actually had to find some that were not in plain sight and then she was over it. ha ha

We dyed eggs on Good Friday. Rylee did a great job and did most of them all by herself. I am starting to see myself in Rylee. I am pretty sure I have a picture of me that looks very similar to this one. I love her so much. She is SUCH an amazing little girl!!!!

Rylee had an Easter egg hunt at school Thursday. This is a picture of Rylee and Luke (a boy from her class). Luke happens to have a HUGE crush on Rylee and brought her a special Easter bunny and some candy. His mom tells me his whole entire family knows about Rylee because he talks about her all the time and how pretty she is! I love it!!!

Parker is all over the place. I had to remove all the door stops in the house because he seeks them out and tries to chew on them. His favorite places to crawl are the fireplace and the windows. He loves to play with the blinds and basically anything that is NOT a toy :) He is making these farting noises with his mouth and it is histarical. He also likes to get in his walker and ram it into the back of our ankles!!!

Rylee doing the longhorns sign with not just her hand but her mac and cheese! ha ha.

A few last things....
-The other day Parker spit up and Rylee yells "mommmm he vomitted"!
-I have been bathing Parker and Rylee together this past week. It is so cute because he copies her when she splashes her hand in the water and when she stops he starts reaching for her arm as if trying to make her do it again. So cute!
