We have been busy busy bee's this past month. The kids have been doing great in school and are looking forward to Spring Break this week. Mommy is too because I get to take the week of from work to spend time with them! We are going to visit The Rentfro's new house in Dallas the later part of next week and are really looking forward to spending some time with them and getting out of town for a few days.
Parker is speaking so clearly and impressing us with his counting skills. He likes to name his friends from school when we are laying in bed at night. I think it is so cute how he talks about his day and who he plays with. He also really likes to pick out his own books that we read each night. Mischelle, if you are reading this, one of his favorites is one that you bought for Rylee called "I took the Moon for a walk".
I am switching Parker's school mid May to allow for more flexible hours (even though I will most likely be quiting my job this summer). I hope he likes it as much as his current school. It is closer and has a very good academic reputation so that is a plus.
Rylee just received her 4th report card for the year and has improved on each category that needed improvement and has had perfect conduct and attendance thus far. I am so proud of the confidence she has gained. Her math skills seem to be her strong suit which I have to assume if NOT from me! :) She is very into art and loves making us little notes and crafts.

Rylee's Valentines Day party at school
We have dance class once a week and softball 2 to 3 times a week so our schedule has been a little hectic. I think Rylee enjoys the fact that she gets to play barbies with her teammates before and after the game then the "actual" game. ;) I have caught her several times dancing out at second base and have witnessed a ball hit straight to her while she stared off into space totally oblivious to anything going on in the game. OH well. She looks cute at least! I think it is something active we can do to get out of the house this Spring. We will finish out the season and hope that she likes it enough to sign up in the Fall. We LOVE her coach and it is so cool how the parents are so supportive of each team mate.
Number FIVE!
She actually looked like she was paying attention in this pic!
She can hit the ball pretty well.
Rodeo season is here which means we have had our share of Western days with each school. The kids both love wearing their boots and hat which I think is awesome.

My little cowboy. So cute!
Rylee and Parker have been so loving MOST of the time. They hug all the time and tell each other "I love you". Melts my heart of course. Parker will say "where is my sister"? He always wants to know where she is when she is not around. He is also really into where daddy is and more importantly why are we not riding in daddy's truck! ha
I realized I had ZERO bath pictures of the 2 of them until now.
We are looking forward to Spring and warmer/nicer weather (although the rain has been filling up the lake like crazy). Easter and Rylee's SIXTH birthday are coming up fast. Seems like these past few months have flown by! As always I will try to update more when I can.
I continue to feel very fortunate for my kids, their health and my amazing husband. I am not sure what I did to deserve them :)
